Membership fees vary depending on the size of the organization. If your organization is interested in becoming a member, please contact us for more information about the application process. Membership applications are approved by SCA’s Board of Directors.
Benefits of Membership in SCA
Members are entitled to make use of SCA’s programs and services, receive SCA updates, information and newsletters and are invited to contribute to and attend events such as the Saskatchewan Co-operative Youth Program, Co-operative Merit Awards Program, Co-op Week Flag Raising Ceremony, Co-op Classic Golf Tournament and Sno-Dome Classic, Meetings with Cabinet, Co-operative Network/Council Luncheons, membership meetings, Board meetings and other functions held by the co-operative sector. Members are encouraged to share their knowledge and provide input into SCA’s strategic direction by being a part of a SCA committee.
Members of SCA are provided with opportunities to network, share issues of interest and collaborate on government relations, communicate with the general public and share resources and best practices with others in the province’s co-operative sector. By working collectively and collaboratively, members of SCA can add strength and synergy to their work.
Through SCA, member organizations have the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to embodying and supporting the co-operative principles with organizations dedicated to advancing the co-operative model and the co-operative principles.
